Officially Plenty of Fish is rolling out video chat on the POF app. In a previous article, I wrote about how to live stream on Plenty of Fish. If you are thinking does POF have a video call? then the answer is yes. Plenty of Fish is rolling out Live feature in the U.S. and will roll out the rest of the world soon. POF Live feature is like a video call. You can go live using the POF Live feature within your POF app. Here I am writing about how to activate video chat on the POF app.

How to activate video chat on POF app
- Update your POF app using Google Play Store or Apple app store.
- Then launch the POF app on your mobile phone.
- Tap the “LIVE!” icon on the Plenty of Fish dashboard in the app
- Once you’re on the LIVE! home page, tap “GO LIVE!” to start streaming.
- Just be yourself and follow POF Content and Conduct Policy and you can start building a new online community!

Thus you can do POF video call set up. POF Live feature is available only on the POF app. It is like Instagram live video. Once you start live video your matches will see your live stream. While you’re streaming, you can tap the eye icon to see a list of everyone who is viewing your stream. You can say “Hi” to anyone on the list or add them to your Favorites. You’ll also be able to see how many hearts each person has sent while watching the stream. Getting hearts from other users means they really enjoy your stream!
POF video call is not an actual video call that you do with other video calling apps like Skype, Hangouts, etc. For now, POF introduces POF Live as a POF video call. If you are looking for a daily life video call then it will make you disappointed. But you can say something is better than nothing. You can do video chat using the POF LIVE feature in the POF app. You can chat with people who are viewing your live video stream.
POF also rolls out NextDate feature with POF Live. NextDate will imitate speed dating with a series of 90-second chats with others. It is a good tool to help people communicate before going to the actual date. The best part of POF LIVe is it is free to use for all POF users.
